Kathryn Fulton Preston, 86, of Ada, Oklahoma passed away Monday, November 23rd, 2020 in Ada.
Kathryn was born December 21st, 1933 in Ada, Oklahoma to Bill and Stella (Walston) Price. She grew up and attended school in the area, and upon graduating high school attended the University of Oklahoma, where she attained a Master's Degree.
Kathryn spent most of her working life as a Dental Hygienist for Dr. Hathcock, but also loved to write songs. She received a few awards and accolades through the years for her songs, and even had a song of hers recorded by Brenda Lee, a well known artist in her day.
Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents, William (Bill) and Stella (Walston) Price, son, Roger Bruce Fulton, a brother, Bill Price, and two sisters, Helen Smith and Betty Hinkle.
She is survived by her grandson, Bruce and wife Kristy Fulton of Ada, great-granddaughters Kali Fulton-Fox and Grace Fulton of Ada, sisters Trish King of Fitzhugh, Oklahoma, Deanna Sparks of Oklahoma City, OK, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, November 30, 2020 at the Estes-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Ada, Oklahoma.
