Betty Jo Bradshaw, age 89, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 21, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Imogene Carson, her sister Delores Shelley, and grandson John Barr. Betty is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jack Bradshaw; son Scott Bradshaw ( Juli ); daughter Beverly Barr ( Charles ); grandchildren Jennifer Richards ( Thomas) ,Matthew Bradshaw ( Samantha ) , Lauren Vickers ( Jason ) , Jackson Barr ( Lori ) , and Jordan Bridges ( Wesley ) . She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren John Thomas, Luke, Andrew, Evie, Everett, Hudson, a host of nieces and nephews, and her best friend of 70 years, Iva Lee Darmer. She was “nannie“ to her grandchildren . She was an example of the “virtuous woman “ in the book of Proverbs --- “her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband praises her ; a woman who fears the Lord , she shall be praised “. “Absent from the body, present with the Lord “. “The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord “. Rest in peace, mama … We all love you , we will all miss you until we meet again .
