Polly Martin

Graveside Services for Polly Martin, 91, formerly of Baker, will be Friday, December 11, 2020, 11:00 am at Bonnievale Cemetery with Pastor Tom Saur officiating. Polly Edith Martin, 91, formerly of Baker, MT, passed away November 22, 2020 in Townsend, Montana. Polly, born May 30, 1929, was the daughter of Paul and Edith (Fenton) Supp. The family lived in Wells Nevada at the time of her graduation. Polly met her husband, Grady Martin, there in Wells, NV. and they were united in marriage on June 23, 1952. These two newlyweds decided to take a trip that happened to land them in Montana. They lived in Glendive and then moved to Baker, where they lived for 40 years together until Grady’s death in 1992 and Polly continued to live. Polly and Grady welcomed two children to their family, Cindy and A.J. and eventually grandchildren that they cherished. Polly raised her family and worked in many different establishments in Baker. The Community Church was a special place for Polly, which she was a devout and proud member. If there were happenings with the church she was most likely involved. Cooking, camping and gardening were things she enjoyed and loved sharing with family and friends. Polly will be missed and is survived by, son, A.J. Martin of Townsend, MT; daughter, Cindy (Dave) Wang of Baker, MT; grandchildren Shawn (Colette) Wang and daughter Rachel, Ryan (Jordanne) Wang and children Ashlee, Hailee, Ella, Bradlee and Lilah, Stacy (Jesse) Bierig and children Brooke and Luke, Heidi (Cory) Heid and son Carter; Jessen Martin and Sam Martin and children Braeden and Zander; sister Sharon (Tom) Lohman Polly was preceded in death by husband, Grady Martin; parents, Paul Supp and Edith (Fenton) Supp; sisters, Fonda, Peg and Dotty; brothers, Gene and Earl; grandson Jason Wang.
