Beverly Jean Branch Portland, Oregon Obituary

Beverly Jean Branch

Beverly Jean Branch peacefully entered the arms of Our Heavenly Father, November 17, 2020 at the age of 80 years. Her full and empowering life left a mark on her family and any and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Beverly was born to Mae Hill and Charles Lutz on April 6, 1940 in Valley Falls, Kansas. Beverly was the second to the youngest of six children. At a young age, her family made their way to the Pacific Northwest, thus inspiring a lifelong passion for travel and adventure. She was also known for her kind smile, warm heart, and passionate sass. Beverly’s sense of adventure and wild heart made her the loving and creative entrepreneur that we all admired and sought guidance from. She made her mark in many different cities around the country, building strong and healthy friendships along her path. Bev had a tendency to make friends wherever she went. Whether living in Oregon (Vale, Portland, and Canby) or Washington (Vancouver). Whether she was living with her daughter or visiting her son’s home in Palm Springs. Regardless of where Bev went, she built a circle of close friends that were like family. Beverly’s adventurous spirit guided her to becoming a talented artist as well as a business enthusiast. She enjoyed all aspects of art ranging from glass work, needle work, painting, sewing, making jewelry and creating all sorts of paper goods. She enjoyed crafting with her nieces on a regular basis and never missed an opportunity to collaborate with other members of the family or artists that she came across. She would attend Holiday Bazaars and meet with curio businesses to spread her work. These efforts were purely taken due to her love of seeing others enjoying her work. Bev enjoyed seeing faces light up with interest or happiness. Beverly is deeply loved, and she will be dearly missed by her remaining siblings, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and the many friends she made on her path through life. She leaves behind her children; Kylia Hammon (DJ), Faren Eatinger (Wendy), Brenda Maupin (Jim), David Eatinger (Sandra), Debbie Haven (Darren), Tammy Eatinger Lee, and Gary Eatinger (Nell). Bev also leaves behind two living siblings, Don Lutz (Alyce), and Bob Lutz. She was a proud grandmother and great grandmother. She never missed the opportunity to boast of her 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Grandma loved to watch them grow and develop into the kind and loving people that she always knew they would be. This pride culminated in a name well-earned and respected, our “Gigi.” Beverly is now reunited with her parents, her children Kyle Daniel and Martin True, her lost siblings, Sam, June (Mel), Loren (Shirley), as well as her lost loves, Robert Branch and Curly Eatinger in heaven.
