<p>Edmund C. Otte, 70, of Tiffin, passed away at 8:05 a.m., on Monday, November 23, 2020 at his residence.</p> <p>Ed was born in Toledo on January 23, 1950, to the late George C. and Gladys (Rosencrantz) Otte. He married LuAnn (Wertz) in Bascom on August 6, 1977 and they later divorced.</p> <p>Ed is survived by his daughters, LaKell (Brandon Smith) Otte of New Riegel, Monica (Myranda) Otte of Tiffin, three grandchildren, Austin, Jordan and Peyton Smith all of New Riegel and a brother, Richard C. Otte of Atlanta, GA.</p> <p>Ed was retired from Honeywell in Fostoria and also active in the Army Reserve. Ed enjoyed playing golf and his extreme passion for horses has brought out the cowgirl in many local children. Ed was a 1968 graduate of Whitmer High School.</p> <p>Ed was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Carl Otte.</p> <p>There will be no services held at this time for Ed. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home &amp; Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.</p> <p>Memorial contributions may be made to the Seneca County 4-H Advisor&#39;s Council, 567 East County Road 16, Tiffin, OH 44883.</p>

Edmund C. Otte, 70, of Tiffin, passed away at 8:05 a.m., on Monday, November 23, 2020 at his residence.

Ed was born in Toledo on January 23, 1950, to the late George C. and Gladys (Rosencrantz) Otte. He married LuAnn (Wertz) in Bascom on August 6, 1977 and they later divorced.
