Marilyn was born in Queens, New York but moved to Chicago when she was a young teen.

   She is predeceased by her parents, Edna and William Hamilton and her husband, Francis Stella.

   She is survived by her brother William Hamilton of Chicago, IL; her stepdaughters Rene’ Grever (Dave) of Monroe Center, IL and her cousin, Eydie Fonti (Frank) of Greentown, PA.

   The family will be holding a private memorial service at a later date.

   Animals were always first her love. She believed in “adopt” don’t shop and a true remembrance of her life would be to donate to a no kill shelter in this area to continue to save lives.
