Marlene Maria Beilman nee Freeman, born July 2, 1934 in New York City, NY to William J. Freeman, born in Danielsville, Georgia February 4, 1887 and Katharina F. Mueller, born in Gelsenkirchen, Germany December 22, 1896 and emigrated to United States May 4th ,1929, and became a US citizen in 1933. She married William J. Freeman September 15, 1930. Because of an inability to receive his mail in WW I, he added Jr to his name to make mail delivery easier, however his father’s name was Joel.

The family moved to Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey in 1937 after spending summers there for several years. Marlene graduated from St. Peter’s Grammar School in Point Pleasant Beach in 1948. She graduated from St. Rose High School in Belmar, New Jersey in 1952. Graduated from University of Wisconsin in 1990 with a BA in literature.

May 11, 1957, Marlene married Mark Emil Beilman of Nebraska City, Nebraska and who graduated from Univ Nebraska with a degree in architecture and received his certificate in 1966 to practice architecture. She is survived by her three sons, Eric Mark, an Airplane Mechanic: Kurt W. and wife (Sheila Scafe), graduated with a MS in mechanical engineering, and son Dieter and daughter Katerina; Mark Ewald and wife (Janet Miller), graduated with a BA in engineering and sons Ray and John.

Marlene extensively traveled Africa, China, Europe, and all around the Mediterranean.

There will be no visitation or any type of services.
