Sidney Ralph Testerman, 81, formerly of Newkirk, OK, passed away on Friday evening, November 20, 2020 at South Central Kansas Medical Center in Arkansas City. 

Private family graveside services will take place in Newkirk, OK and the family wishes memorials to the Cowley County Humane Society.  Contributions may be left with Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City.

Ralph was born on December 15, 1938 in Cushing, Oklahoma the son of Sidney Robert and Ebbalee (Farley) Testerman. He was reared and educated in Newkirk, where he graduated from high school.  Ralph served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict from 1955-1957 when he was honorably discharged.   On September 20, 1959 in Newkirk, Ok, he was united in marriage to Ellen Darlene Richards.  The couple made their home in Arkansas City, KS but also lived in San Benito, TX; Greenville, TX and then moved back to Newkirk in 1974. During their time there, he attended Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa and Oklahoma State University in Stillwater.  Darlene preceded him in death on June 7, 2000.   On June 9, 2005, he was united in marriage to Bonnie J. Kiser. The couple made their home in Newkirk before moving to Presbyterian Manor in 2015. Bonnie preceded him in death on January 12, 2016.  Ralph was certified Master Mechanic and enjoyed mechanic work, car restoration, woodworking, home remodeling and carpentry.   His most recent employment was with the Blackwell, Oklahoma School District where he was in building maintenance before retiring in 2005.   Ralph was a member of the Church of Christ of Newkirk, OK.  

His family includes his children; Jaime Testerman of Arkansas City, KS and Bret Testerman and wife Julie of Jacksonville, FL; his siblings, Ronald Testerman, Richard Testerman, Darlene G. Burch, Michael R. Testerman, Joyce Testerman and Christopher Testerman; his 3 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.   In addition to his wives, Darlene and Bonnie, he was also preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Debra Kay.
