Ruth Tompkins, 98, of Holiday City South section of Berkeley Township, NJ passed away on Saturday November 21, 2020 at home.

She was born and raised in East Orange, NJ living there for 65 years before moving to Holiday City South 33 years ago.  Ruth was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her husband Leonard in 2018.

Surviving is her loving children; Carol Rose Burton of Lindenwold, NJ, Leonard and his wife Linda of Hudson, NH and Donald and his wife Marcella of North Bellmore, NY, 9  grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Sunday November 29, 2020 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at The Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St. Catherine Blvd. Toms River, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday November 30, 2020 at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow to Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair, NJ.
