<p>Larry Eugene Ellefritz, 76, of Carthage, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020, at his home at Hickory Grove Apartments in Carthage.</p> <p>Larry was born November 6, 1944, the son of Kenneth and Virginia (Buss) Ellefritz in Carthage, Illinois. Larry lived in the Carthage area all his life, and worked at the Carthage Order Buyers for many years until its closing. In his youth, Larry enjoyed coon hunting with his father. Larry loved to watch old westerns on T.V.&nbsp; and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a social member of the Carthage V.F.W.</p> <p>Larry is survived by his sister, Linda Schmudlach of Carthage, three nieces, Lois (Jeff) Hills of Liberty Township, Ohio, Leah (Dave) Sullivan of Zionsville, Indiana, and Lydia (Shawn) Gutting of Carthage, one nephew, Mark (Julie) Schmudlach of Carthage, and numerous great nieces and nephews.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Sandy (Paul) Ewing, and a brother at childbirth.</p> <p>Graveside services will be held at McKay Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 27, 2020.&nbsp; Printy Funeral Home of Carthage is in charge of arrangements.</p>

Larry Eugene Ellefritz, 76, of Carthage, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020, at his home at Hickory Grove Apartments in Carthage.

Larry was born November 6, 1944, the son of Kenneth and Virginia (Buss) Ellefritz in Carthage, Illinois.
