Janice A. Bonacci

Janice A. (Vulcano) Bonacci November 21, 2020 Janice A. Bonacci, 82, a native of Syracuse but resided in Canastota the last several years, passed away peacefully on Saturday with her family by her side. She was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Janice was formerly employed as a clerk at Fluahan’s Dress Shop and Alfreda’s Dress Shop in Liverpool. Her family was her life, she enjoyed cooking holiday meals for them and her guests. She was predeceased by her parents, James V. Vulcano and Anne Marsella; her brother and sister- in- law, Ronald (Karen) Vulcano. Janice is survived by her husband, David Barbagallo; her daughter, Renee’ (John Jr.) Cassano; her sons, Edward (Tracy) Bonacci, Jeff (Cathy) Bonacci and Daniel (Amber) Bonacci; her grandchildren, John III, Nicholas, James, Corey, Matthew, Alyssa, Michael, Christopher and Olivia; her great grandchildren, James V. and Blake . Calling hours will be Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd., Syracuse. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 425 Beechwood Avenue, Liverpool, N.Y 13088. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
