Edgar “Ed” E. Krein, age 82, of Trail City, SD, formerly of Revillo, SD, lost his battle to cancer on Sunday, November 22, 2020, at the Good Samaritan Society nursing home in Clear Lake, SD.

Ed enjoyed playing music and always lent a helping hand to his neighbors and friends. He will be greatly missed.

Ed is survived by his daughter, Tina Krein, Watertown, SD; 6 grandchildren: Jodie (Bill) Miller, League City, TX, Stephanie (Scott) Stanley, Richfield, UT, Jolene Keller, Mobridge, SD, Jessica (John) Walter, Rapid City, SD, Jennifer Krein, Erie, PA, and Chad Perman, Mobidge, SD; 9 great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Marge Lemburg, Selby, SD and Nettie Overseth, ND.

He is preceded in death by his son, Rodney Krein; granddaughter, Terri Krein; 10 brothers; 1 sister; and both parents.
