Joyce McKinney Taylor, 82 of Morgantown, KY passed away Saturday November 21, 2020 at her residence. She was born July 30, 1938 in the Quality Community of  Butler County, KY to the late Rollie McKinney and Nellie Ann Proctor Osborne. Joyce was a member of Mt Vernon Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed square dancing and crocheting.  Joyce was retired from the Butler County Library, she was the operator and driver for the Book Mobile delivering books to homes in Butler County for many years. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband Herbert Beldon Howard; second husband Arthur Kibby Taylor; one sister Loyce McKinney Champion and one brother Jim Osborne.

Joyce McKinney Taylor is survived by two daughters Lori Howard of Morgantown, KY and Glenda McChesney (Mark) of Hopewell, Virginia; four grandchildren Jyme Kessinger of Morgantown, KY, Rachel Daugherty of Morgantown, KY, Tawny Daugherty (Kalem Hunt) of Beaver Dam, KY and Charles McChesney of Hopewell, Virginia; three great grandchildren Beldon Daugherty of Morgantown, KY, Raegan Hunt of Beaver Dam, Ky and Elijah Hunt of Beaver Dam, KY and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel on Friday, July 14, 2023 at 6:00pm with Bro. Gerald Geary officiating. A private burial will be on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at the Mt Vernon Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
