Raymond Paul Miller Obituary

The world lost Raymond Paul Miller (“Hogga”), 60, on Thursday, November 20th at Beverly Hospital. Born in Rabat, Morocco, he grew up in Beverly, MA and raised his family in Gloucester, MA where he resided for 32 years. He was the son of the late Edward and Jean (Bertucci) Miller. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Ray knew that he always put his family first. He loved his daughters with all of his heart and always bragged about them whenever he got the chance. His bond with his siblings was like no other. He always took the time to connect with each of them and loved making new memories with them and laughing about the old ones. His friends, near and far were all extremely important to him as well. He was constantly making them and everyone around him laugh and smile. Ray truly lived life to the fullest through his passions of cooking/grilling, coaching softball, watching sports, listening to music, his new found hobby of golfing and of course, anything that had to do with eating. He had an extremely strong work ethic, which his daughters looked up to. He spent many years working for the Zampell company, which he loved. Raymond is survived by his three loving daughters: Justine Miller (Mike) of San Diego, CA, Kendra Miller of Gloucester, MA and Ryanne Davey (Ryan) of Avon, CT. His granddaughters: Quinn and Tess. His former beautiful spouse: Paula Miller. His siblings: Sharon Corey (Norman), Robert (Jennifer), James (Lina), Wayne (Valerie), Judy Kilmer (Harry) and Debra Miller-Chute. His nieces and nephews: Andrea, Paul, Jackie, John, Kristen, Stephanie, Tommy, Jeff, Dylan and Boston, along with many more great nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. Visiting hours will be held for Ray on Tuesday, November 24th from 2pm-5pm at the Campbell Funeral Home at 61 Middle Street, Gloucester. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to The Gloucester Highschool Softball Boosters. More information, directions and condolences can be found at www.campbellfuneral.com .
