Vicki Griggs Holt Sept. 29, 1940 – Nov. 20, 2020 Vicki Loa Griggs Holt, 80, of Sturgis, KY, passed away at Walnut Creek Alzheimer’s Care Center in Evansville, IN on Friday, November 20, 2020. Vicki was born in Powderly, KY, the daughter of Alden LeRoy and Mary Adel Sparks Griggs. She grew up in Louisville and graduated from Southern High School with the class of 1958. Following high school, she attended Western Kentucky University where she met and married her husband, Kenneth David (Dave) Holt. Vicki was a long-time member of the Sturgis Church of Christ. She worked for and retired from the Kentucky Department of Human Resources in Morganfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and an infant son, Bryan David. Survivors include her daughter Michael Holt Fisher and husband Barry of Greencastle, IN; daughter Hilary Holt Risinger and husband, Billy of Morganfield; grandchildren Benjamin Fisher and wife Andra, Miles Risinger, Sarah Grace Fisher, and Jake Risinger. Sisters Donita Groft of AZ, and Vonita Marshall of Louisville. Sister-in-law Margaret Holt Chapman of Sturgis, Brother-in-law Bill Holt and wife Patricia of Moultrie, GA. Graveside service at Pythian Ridge Cemetery in Sturgis, KY. Due to current COVID-19 public health restrictions the service will be private. Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis, KY in charge of arrangements.
