1940-2020 Glenn C. Trantham, 80, passed away peacefully at his home on November 20, 2020. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Glenn and Lenora Trantham. He was also preceded in death by his son, Shannon Trantham; brother, James Edwin Trantham; and sister, Jearlene Adams. Glenn is survived by his daughter, Sabrina Whitaker; sister, Eunice West; 6 grandchildren; along with numerous extended family and friends. He retired from the Town of Waynesville with 30 years of service working in the Water treatment Plant. Glenn enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He was a simple man that enjoyed spoiling his grandkids and will be greatly missed by those that loved him. Due to the Covid restrictions, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
