William Carl Dunavan, age 73 of Higden, Arkansas, passed away November 20, 2020. Born on August 10, 1947 in Blackton, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Dick and Willie Mae Dunavan. Carl was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He was a United States Veteran, having served his country during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers Mike Dunavan and James Dunavan. He is survived by his brother Billy Harris of West Helena, Arkansas, his sisters Barbara Wadkins and her husband Sonny of Marion, Arkansas, and Betty Holland and her husband Kenneth of Marion, Arkansas, his uncles Roger Dunagan and his wife Sherry of Higden, Arkansas, and Ronald Dunagan and his wife Martha of Lexa, Arkansas, his 5 nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, other relatives and many friends. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 28, 2020 in the Higden McLehaney Cemetery. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home. www.olmstead.cc
