Luann Christmyer Obituary

Luann Christmyer passed away peacefully and comfortably in her home, surrounded by her husband and children on November 12th, 2020. She was a loving mother of five children, George Demico, James Demico, Eric Christmyer (Megan Christmyer), Amanda Mathis (Quinton Mathis), and Jessica Brower (Bill Brower), and a grandmother of six, Faith Demico, George Jr. Demico, Gavin Demico, Ever Mathis, Holden Brower and Layla Christmyer. She is survived by her husband, Tom Christmyer, who loved her fiercely and cared for her in sickness and in health. She is also survived by her mother, Lucille Svigel, and will be truly missed by her siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Luann raised her children at home in Jefferson, Ohio before returning to school to become a nurse in 1996. She embodied the true heart of a nurse and cared for her patients as she would her own family. All of those that knew her felt accepted and cherished in her presence. She will always be remembered as a truly special woman who was just as beautiful inside as she was on the outside. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date, to be determined at this time. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to pancreatic cancer research at the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network - pancan.org.
