Mr. Franklin Burgess “Bub” Heath of Sulphur Rock, Arkansas, departed this life on Friday, November 20, 2020, at the age of 63. He was born April 5, 1957 in Newport, Arkansas, the son of Franklin Delano “Frog” and Charlotte Ann Burgess Heath. Mr. Heath worked as a handy man for Frank Rogers and Rutledge Electric. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Heath was a member of the NRA. He was a big fan of westerns, with his favorites being John Wayne and Gun Smoke. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Gregory Lynn Heath; two sisters, Jean Ann Gipson and Terry Sue Rutledge. Mr. Heath is survived by his wife of eighteen years, Jean Savage Heath; one son, Shane Heath and wife, Angelia, of Charlotte; one step-daughter, Ginny Patterson and husband, Jason, of Newark; one brother, Lanny Glenn Heath; nine grandchildren, Logan, Brandon, Ashley, Ethan, Mattie, Carrie, Alley, Anna Grace, and Hunter; one great grandchild, Grant; nieces and nephews, Chris, Dustin, Michelle, and Heath. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Center Grove Cemetery with Buddy Combs officiating. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Chris Rutledge, Shane Heath, Dustin Heath, Kenny Gipson, Heath Combs, and Brandon Bennett. Honorary pallbearers will be Jackie Cheshier, Travis Cheshier, Thomas Burnside, and Gary Brock. Arrangements by Jackson’s Funeral Home.
