Interment Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by a loving wife of sixty years, Pauline Loadholt Beckett; four sons, Verdell Beckett, Jr., Wendell Beckett, Kendell Beckett, and Anthony E. Beckett; nephew like a son, Lorenzor Loadholt; adopted daughter, Cynthia Williams; four grandchildren, Jaleesa, Janice, Wendell, Jr., and Lotoya; four great grandchildren, Jacoby, Jonah, Zoey, and Keith, Jr., sister, Blossom Beckett Priester; brother, Abraham Beckett, Jr.; aunt, Mamie Clark; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Ann Brown and Betty Loadholt; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives, and friends.
