Vincenzo "Enzo" Coppeto, age 61 of Kennewick, Washington, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Trios Health Southridge. Enzo was born in Presenzano, Italy to Bruno and Italia Coppeto. Enzo lived in the Tri-Cities, WA the past 15 years and proudly worked at Ben Franklin Transit. Enzo's hobbies were building engines for his Chevy cars. Some of his favorite memories were of drag racing and going to car shows. He always watched Mecum Auctions and would read anything that had to do with building big block engines. Enzo didn't believe in turbo. If you needed turbo, then your engine wasn't built right to begin with. Fuel injection was not horsepower, and Four Barrels were only to look at. He would say that horsepower is how fast you'll hit the wall, and torque is how far you'll go through it. He was a teacher and had a gift of getting people involved. His Saturdays included working with his friends, sharing his knowledge with them, and involving them throughout the process. He was a giving person with a big heart on his sleeve. He was known for all his jokes and sharing so many stories—he always captivated an audience. The two best days of his life were the day he married his wife and the day that his daughter was born. Enzo is survived by R. Coppeto (wife) and I. Coppeto (daughter), B. Coppeto (father) and his wife, A. Moore (sister) and her husband with their children (nephews and niece), G. Coppeto (uncle), B. Coppeto-Milano (cousin) and her spouse with their children (cousins). He is preceded in death by I. Coppeto (mother) and R. Coppeto (cousin). He finished the race with flying colors, and at the pearly gates they were already waving the checkered flags.
