“Standing Bear Woman”

On Tuesday, November 17, 2020, Lee Ann Meechas passed away at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 50 years.

Lee Ann will be greatly missed by her husband Kirby Daniels; children Danielle (Dalton), Taylyn (Duncan), Leah, Grason (Shaydah), Paula, Paul Jr. and John; grandchildren Michael, John, Lenna, Tyler, Blake, Lennan, Wesley and Pauline. She is also survived by her father John; siblings Lisa, Loren & Sheryl; beloved uncle Mervin Roulette; aunties Doris Roulette and Evelyn Roulette; along with many cousins, nephews, nieces, grandchildren and close friends. Lee Ann was predeceased by her mother Pauline Roulette and grandmother Mabel Roulette

A traditional wake will take place Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 4pm at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge.  A traditional feast & service will be held on Sunday November 22, 2020 beginning at noon at the Long Plain spirit lodge.  Interment will follow at Long Plain Cemetery.
