Lula M. Ray

Lula M. Ray, age 80 of Joes’s Creek, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020 at the Pikeville Medical Center. She was a homemaker and a member of the Coal Run Church of Christ. Lula was born at Brushy Creek, Kentucky on August 5, 1940 the daughter of the late Bradley and Liza (Stanley) Ray. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Alice Gillespie, Easter Ellis, Alma Tackett and Astor Lenore Lynch and two brothers, Emory Ray and Elmer Ray. She is survived by one sister, Maxine Leslie of Pikeville, Kentucky and a host of nieces and nephews. Due to the Covid 19 Restrictions set forth by Governor Andy Beshear, Private Visitation will be held Saturday from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. in the chapel of J.W. Call Funeral Home. Private Graveside Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2020 with burial following in the Bradley Ray Cemetery at Joe’s Creek, Kentucky
