SUMMERTON – Peter Klymshyn, 99, died Friday, November 20, 2020, at Veterans Victory House in Walterboro. Born July 10, 1921, in Astoria, New York, he was a son of the late Phillip Klymshyn and the late Anna Sup Klymshyn. He was a US Air Force veteran of WWII, a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Disabled American Veterans. He was Catholic. He was an avid gardener and loved orchestra music. He is survived by his daughter, Jean A. Vannatta of Summerton; two grandchildren, Debra Ciarrocchi (Raymond) and Denise Clune (fiancé Douglas Marold), both of Lake Ariel, PA; two great grandchildren, Tiffany and Ryan; and a great-great granddaughter, Tempest. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Andrew, Daniel, William and John; and a sister, Theresa. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
