<p><br /> ELKHART-Roberta L. Smith, 66, passed away November 20, 2020 at her home in Elkhart surrounded by her family.&nbsp; She was born September 20, 1954 in Ft. Wayne, IN to Lester &amp; Betty (Branstrator) Lambert.<br /> &nbsp; On August 22, 1972 she married Dennis W. Smith; he preceded her in death on February 10, 2009.&nbsp; She was also preceded in death by her parents and 5 siblings.&nbsp;<br /> &nbsp; Surviving are 5 children, Denise (Steven) Obert, Dennis (Stacy) Smith, Timothy (Nikki) Smith, Amanda (James) Richardson, Travis (Lisa) Smith, 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.&nbsp; Also surviving are 5 siblings, her companion, Jeff Anderson and numerous other family members.<br /> &nbsp; Roberta enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.&nbsp; She will be remembered as a strong person and caregiver to all.<br /> &nbsp; A private celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.&nbsp;<br /> &nbsp; In lieu of flowers please send memorial contributions the Center for Hospice Care.<br /> &nbsp; Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.<br /> &nbsp;</p>

ELKHART-Roberta L. Smith, 66, passed away November 20, 2020 at her home in Elkhart surrounded by her family.  She was born September 20, 1954 in Ft. Wayne, IN to Lester & Betty (Branstrator) Lambert.
  On August 22, 1972 she married Dennis W. Smith; he preceded her in death on February 10, 2009.  She was also preceded in death by her parents and 5 siblings.
