Sandra Jean (Champ) LawrenceCumberland, MD – Sandra Jean (Champ) Lawrence, 72, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020, at Moran Manor Nursing Home. Born October 16, 1948, in Cumberland, MD, Mrs. Lawrence was the daughter of the late Eston Champ and Elsie (Hampson) Champ. She was also preceded in death by her first husband: Kenneth Lawrence. A graduate of Fort Hill High School and a former employee of the S. Schwab Company, Sandra was previously employed at the Cumberland YMCA. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Sandra was also a member of the Henry Hart Post #1411 V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary; the Fort Cumberland Post #13 American Legion Auxiliary; and the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge Ladies Auxiliary. Sandra is survived by her sons: Michael Lawrence; and Brian Lawrence and wife, Jacqueline; and the love of her life, her grandson: Kenny Lawrence. She also leaves behind her brother: Raymond Champ and wife, LeAnn; her sisters: June Lieghtey and Nancy Bingaman and husband, Duane; and many friends she made through the years.
