Collazo of Jersey City, NJ, passed away at home surrounded by his family.&nbsp; Born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico on February 9, 1944, he came to what he would call his lifetime home Jersey City, NJ as a young child.&nbsp; Jose &ldquo;El Indio&rdquo; Collazo is the owner of Indio&rsquo;s Place located in downtown Jersey City.&nbsp; He was also the sponsor of several men&#39;s baseball and women&#39;s softball teams in Jersey City, owner of the &quot;Indios Warriors&quot;, and a member of the American Pool Player&#39;s Association.</p> <p>He was predeceased by his parents Pedro Collazo &amp; Rosario Feliciano; his beloved wife Miriam Collazo, his brother Junior Rodriguez and his sons Jose A Collazo Jr, &amp; Wilfredo Collazo. He is survived by his loving children Jennifer Collazo, Michele Collazo &amp; Audrey Marie Doncell, his grandchiildren Nashayla, Eddilynn, Roman, Ciani, Ciellesse, Christina, Ruben, Alex and his great grandchildren Emerie, Johan, Cheyenne, Charlotte &amp; Carolise.</p> <p>Visitation will be&nbsp; held on Sunday, November 22nd from 2 to 6pm.&nbsp; A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 10am.&nbsp; Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, NJ.</p>

Jose A. Collazo of Jersey City, NJ, passed away at home surrounded by his family.  Born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico on February 9, 1944, he came to what he would call his lifetime home Jersey City, NJ as a young child.  Jose “El Indio” Collazo is the owner of Indio’s Place located in downtown Jersey City.  He was also the sponsor of several men's baseball and women's softball teams in Jersey City, owner of the "Indios Warriors", and a member of the American Pool Player's Association.
