<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:20px;">Billy Ray Hall Billy Ray Hall, age 81 of Newton (Wicksburg Community), passed away late Thursday evening, November 19, 2020, at his residence, surrounded by his family and under the care of Kindred Hospice. Funeral services for Mr. Hall will be held at 2pm Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Pilgrim Home Baptist Church with Pastor Allen Singley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1pm. Social distancing will be required. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Pilgrim Home Baptist Church, c/o Building Fund, 13534 US-84 W., Newton, AL 36352. Mr. Hall was born December 14, 1938 in Dothan to the late Herman Ellis and Clara Estelle Meadows Hall. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. For many years he was a Life Underwriter for the insurance industry, and later owned several chicken houses and worked in the poultry industry until his retirement. Mr. Hall was also a member of Pilgrim Home Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Linda Hall of Newton (Wicksburg Community); three sons and two daughters-in-law, Billy Ray Hall, Jr. (Patti), Jon Hall and Jake E. Hall (Erin); a daughter, Penny Mills; two step-daughters and their husbands, Donna Ward (Steve) and Ginger Weeks (Denis); three sisters, Merium Stickland, Jimmie Sanders and Madine Gradic.
