John Huntsbarger
John E. Huntsbarger, 94, of Centerville, died Saturday, January 14, 2017, at St. Leonard's. He was born in Middletown on September 7, 1922 to parents Daniel and Pauline (Bigler) Huntsbarger. Mr. Huntsbarger was a hospital administrator for Mercy Fairfield. He served our country in the United States Army as 2nd lieutenant. John enjoyed traveling and was a member of Holy Family Parish. Mr. Huntsbarger is survived by his son, Bruce Huntsbarger, daughter, Carol (Joseph) Bidwell and grandsons, Kyle (Samantha) Bidwell, Joseph Bidwell Jr., Samuel (Lauren) Bidwell along with many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends John was preceded in death by his parents, wife Rosemary A. (Harkrader) Huntsbarger and brothers, Gerald Huntsbarger and James Huntsbarger. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark Street, Middletown. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Woodside Mausoleum with Military Honors by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Leonard Greatest Need Fund, 8100 Clyo Road, Centerville, Ohio 45458.
