Shirley Louise Tatum, 81, of Critz, VA, died on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Stanleytown Health & Rehab Center. She was born in Beckley, WV on April 3, 1939 to the late Lucy Lee Clark Green and Ray Green. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Thomas Tatum, one son; Willie Thomas Tatum, one grandson;Michael Jeremy and two brothers; James Ray Green and Arthur Lee Green. She worked for thirty five years at Bassett Walker in Stuart, VA until her retirement and was a member of Mount Nebo Holiness Church. Surviving are four daughters, Velma Huff of Critz, VA, Lois Penn of Spencer, VA, Helen Granderson of Critz, VA, Rachel Handy of Critz, VA, one son; Darian Tatum of Critz, VA, two sisters, Lucy Hairston of Mount Airy, NC, Mae Alice Kinsey of Florence, SC. Two brothers: Maynard Green of Mount Airy, NC, Melvin Green of Mount Airy, NC, eighteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 12:00 noon on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Patrick Memorial Gardens with Minister Greg Hylton officiating. Burial will follow at Patrick Memorial Gardens.
