Valetta Smith (nee Earle) October 27, 1944 – November 18, 2020 Pynn’s Brook, NL Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 in Corner Brook, Valetta Smith at the age of 76 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 56 years, Jim; children: Jennifer (Joseph), Kim (Rick), Lisa (Melvin) and Jimmie; grandchildren: Isabella, Ashley, Cecilia, James and Brady; great-grandchildren: Eli, Jubilee, Tobias, James and Dalton; sisters and brothers: Elizabeth, Clarence (Sandra), Jim (Mary) and Judy; brother-in-law Cyril; sister-in-law Shirley and special friend Beulah; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents William and Ina, sister Myrtice, brother Eric, parents-in-law Gilbert and Ivy, brothers-in-law Hedley (Florence), Samuel and Ferd. A private family visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue. A private funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 22 at Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel, St. Mark’s Avenue with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating, cremation to follow.
