It is with sadness that the family of the late EDWIN GEORGE PIERCEY of Fortune announce his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Thursday, November 19th at the age of 82.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife Margaret of 50 years; son, Neil (Dawn) of Mount Pearl; stepson, Dave Hickman (Patricia) of Fort McMurray, Alberta; stepdaughters, Marilyn Harris of Fortune and Patricia (Clyde) Follett of Cold Lake, Alberta; sister, Joyce Rogers, Anna (Charles) Buffett and Vera (Stanley) Bonnell; brothers, Leo (Marion) Bonnell, twin, Tom (Maisie) & Lowell (Pam) Bonnell, Forsey (Donna) Bonnell; 1 grandchild, Tamara Green; plus a lager circle of relatives and friends.

Edwin was pre-deceased by parents, Edwin & Julia Piercey; sister, Christie Lovell; brother-in-law, Jacob Lovell; son-in-law, Sylvester Harris and stepson, Reuben Hickman.

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in the area, the family has decided on cremation with a funeral service to be held at a date to be announced.

In Edwin’s memory donations may be made to the United Church, Fortune.
