Robert "Bob" Joseph Wujciak

Robert “Bob” Joseph Wujciak (2/6/49-11/17/20) – Husband, Dad, Pop, Son, Brother, Uncle, and Friend. The man. The myth. The legend. Bob had bravely battled esophageal cancer since the summer of 2019. He put up a good fight but he passed peacefully at home on November 17th. Bob was joyful about having had a full life. We will miss Bob terribly but we are happy that he is at peace. Even though his worldly journey is over, his new mission is just beginning. God sent him to Heaven in his trend setting Hawaiian shirt, as a reward for all of his dedication and service. Bob is looking forward to socializing with those that went before him, making new friends (which he was a master at), playing his guitar, leading worship, laughing, and eating a lot of good food. He particularly loved covered dish dinners and Genghis Grill. Bob is survived by his wife, Linda Olsen Wujciak, who he loved immensely; his daughter, Jennifer Periche-Feliz who he loved fiercely; his son-in-law, JuanLuis Periche-Feliz who he loved as his own son; and his grandson, Mateo Periche-Wujciak, who brought him so much pride and joy. Bob is also survived by his one and only older brother, Ed Wujciak and wife, Alice Wujciak of Hollywood, Florida, as well as many other extended family members. Bob ran and grew his own successful engraving business, B.W. Service Company which he ran for over 30 years. He passed his thriving business on to his daughter and son-in-law. Bob was an active and instrumental member of the Emmaus community, where he served on the Board of Directors. He was also a part of Chrysalis and Epiphany where he almost always led the music with his guitar and cheery disposition. Bob found such happiness and purpose in leading worship with his wife for 21 years at 3 different churches. Out of all of his ministry work he exceptionally loved Kairos of Kershaw. He felt strong love and genuine connections to many of the residents. He often told everyone that Kairos was the best thing he did in life. A small private family memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 28th at 11:00 AM and will be streamed live on the internet so everyone can watch. Please check back here for a link to view the service on the obituary Tribute Wall. Also, due to COVID-19 restrictions, a celebration of Bob’s life will be held sometime during 2021 in Charlotte, NC. If you wish to honor Bob, he would greatly appreciate donations to the Kershaw Prison Ministry. Checks can be made payable to KCI Ministries and mailed to KCI Ministries, c/o Joe Collins, 1101 Lester Mullis Rd., Indian Trail, NC 28079. Until we meet again, Bob. We all love you.
