Brian Bruce Golden, British Columbia Obituary

Brian Bruce

Brian Keith Bruce (Brewster) born Sept. 21, 1949 in Prince Albert Saskatchewan, passed away suddenly on Oct. 9th in his beloved mountain home in Golden B. C. Brewster was a crane operator and owned his own business, B & B Crane for 30 years. His favorite place to be was in the mountains and with family, where we spent a lot of summers camping at Shuswap Lake. Brew had a zest for life, hunting, camping, boating, etc. In 1994 his world changed. He never let that stop him and he became artistic with painting, pottery, stain glass and much more. Being the generous, hardworking, intelligent person with a wonderful sense of humour, Brew had many friends most of which are partying with him again. The one thing Brew treasured the most was his family. He was so proud of each one and tears of joy came every time he told a story or thought of them. He loved the visits and spending time with them going to their events. Brewster had the biggest heart and gave of himself without hesitation or complaint. Always a man who was bigger than life to all and was dealt a difficult hand early in life but lived with it. Predeceased by his loving parents Ken and Pearl Bruce and many aunts, uncles, friends and relatives. Survived by his wife Karen, children Jason (Trista), Jared (Joanne) and Kristen (Bruce Sabo); stepchildren, Corina (Tim Peterson) and Candice Hillary; grandchildren Dustin, Ken, Jasmine, Ashleigh, Kayne, Jesse, Kayli, Damen, Rhett, and Jase and great grandson Kingstan, Brothers Wayne (Lori), Randy (Kim) and Brad as well as his in laws Bert and Irene Tress and multiple nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Golden, BC Royal Canadian Legion Branch 122 rclgolden122@telus.net <br>
