Harriet Lee Horton, age 60, born in Baltimore, MD. passed away on November 19, 2020 in Hartsville South Carolina. Harriet was born on July 27, 1960 to Alline and Harold Horton in Baltimore Maryland. After graduating from Frederick Douglass High School, she then went on to school to further her education within the healthcare system. After graduation she continued to pursue and magnify her love and passion for helping others; landing multiple jobs geared towards the betterment and uplift of others both physically and mentally within the community. When Harriet had her first and only child Creighvion Benjamin, she dedicated her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Harriet excelled at propping up friends, neighbors, children and members of her family. Ultimately supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives with persistence, sass and love. Harriet was passionate about hospitality & entertainment and when she wasn’t filling her home with loved ones, warmth and kindness, she could be found in the community working with children and guiding them towards better. Harriet loved watching children play football and cheering them on from the stands. Harriet also loved bowling and vacations with family and friends. We will miss her greatly. Harriet was predeceased by her parents Alline and Harold. She is survived by a host of family members including her son, Creighvion Benjamin; her sisters, Willene Knox (James E. Knox Sr.) and Rosetta Oliver (Oliver Oliver). Along with a host of other family members including nephew James Jr. (Eboni), LaTonya (niece), Corey (nephew), James III (great nephew), Jahiem (great nephew), Jayon (great nephew), Jaron (great nephew), Jayden (great great nephew). Harriet also leaves behind loving and helpful family members Lamont Freeman and Davion James. - Respectfully submitted by the Family-
