Alexander Neal Riffe, 30, of Logan, WV, departed this life into his heavenly home on Sunday, November 15th, 2020. Alex was born on May 3rd, 1990, in Logan, WV, to Dawn Riffe. Alex’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understand that the quality of his existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which he lived. His big heart, sweet smile, goofy laugh, and fun personality brought so much joy to his family and friends. Alex was a beloved son, father, nephew, cousin, and friend. Alex was a music and movie connoisseur. He could quote absolutely any rock song in existence, especially the Red Hot Chili Peppers songs. Music was his peace and his passion. Alex is survived by his loving mother, Dawn Riffe of Logan; his beloved son Camron Riffe (Misty Belcher) of Man and Camron's grandparents (Lisa & Mannie Nelson) of Verdunville; his beloved son Ryan Riffe (Amanda Willis) of Charleston; his beloved daughter Laney Riffe (Allyson Foster) of Charleston; his beloved daughter Amelia (Mia) Riffe (Allyson Foster) of Charleston; his beloved daughter Zaylynn Bias (Porscha Bias) of Whitman; and his beloved son Draven Alexander Riffe (Brittany Burgess) of Logan. He was also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, his godmother, cousins, and other family members. He loved all his children, family, and friends, and loved spending time with them. He was preceded in death by his aunt Shawn Hatfield, his grandmother Betty Jane Hatfield, his uncle Jr Hatfield, his mother’s fiancé Ernie Nelson, and his aunt Betsy McCoy. As Alex would always say, “Quit saying you’re sorry and be happy.” We must remember and carry with us the happiest of times that we shared with him. Alex’s memorial services will be determined to be held at a later date.
