COLUMBUS, OHIO – Dorothy M. Baur, 95, of East Liverpool passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Willow Brook Christian Home in Columbus, OH. Dorothy was born in East Liverpool on June 8, 1925 a daughter of the late Robert and Alice (Chilton) Richards. She was a graduate of East Liverpool High School Class of 1943 and a 1948 graduate of Philadelphia School of the Bible. Dorothy was an active member of the Northside Community Church where she was a member of the choir and taught Sunday school. She was also on the administration Board and chairman of the Mission Committee and Board of Christian Education at the church. Dorothy was a homemaker and has lived in Columbus with her son for the past ten years. Preceding Dorothy in death were her husband Charles J. Baur; son David Baur and brother Ray Richards. Left to cherish her memory are her son Bob Baur and his wife Sally of Columbus; three grandsons Joshua Baur and his wife Brittany of Dublin; Jeremy Baur of Columbus and Zach Baur of Columbus; two great grandchildren Otto and Olivia Baur and sister-in-law Norma Richards. Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Sunday where the family will be present from 2 to 5 p.m. and on Monday at the Northside Community Church from 10 to 11 a.m. where Pastor Larry Rose will conduct a funeral service Monday 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens. In compliance with Ohio state regulations with concerns of the COVID-19 virus masks must be worn at all times in the funeral home and at the Church.
