Roberto Soto Saldivar Obituary

Roberto Soto Saldivar, known by his nieces and nephews as “Nino Bobby”, 85, passed away on November 16, 2020 surrounded by his loved ones. Roberto was born on April 4, 1935 in Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, Mexico. Roberto was a well-known professional welder for over 30 years. He was known by all as a hard worker and self-starter, earning money to provide for his family. In his younger years, he and his friend Al Campoy would go around town shining shoes to make money. He liked to hunt, fish and travel back to Casas Grandes to visit family. He is survived by his three siblings: Francisco Anchondo (Carmela), Maria Saldivar, and Mario Saldivar (Helen); 2 nephews, 8 nieces, 14 great nephews, 11 great-nieces and 1 great-great niece. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Jose and Margarita Saldivar and his brother Joe Saldivar. Graveside services following the 10:00 a.m. mass will be held at Eloy Memorial Park Cemetery. Please be advised that due to COVID, precautions will be taken. Heritage Casa Grande Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
