His huge smile, personality, warm heart, kindness, and the love for his family and friends, will be greatly missed by many.</strong></em></span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><em><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Alex was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico on August 15, 1991. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Mary C. Maestas, and his maternal grandfather, Ramon A. Larranaga.</strong></em></span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><em><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; He is survived by his mother, Cristina Dominguez and his stepfather Guy Dominguez, his father Manuel Maestas and stepmom, Trish Maestas, his sister, DeAnza Maestas (Kainai), half-brother, Greg Maestas,&nbsp; his maternal grandmother, Eva Larranaga Padilla and grandfather, Mel Padilla, his paternal grandfather, Jose D. Maestas, his aunt, Ernestina(Charles) Martinez, uncle Ramon Larranaga(Stephanie), aunt Juliette(Eddie) Davis, aunt Arlene(Leonard) Manzanares, aunt Alisha Maestas, first cousins, Caleb Davis, Joshua (Hannah) Davis, Jordan Davis(Elle), Ronnie Gonzales, Jeremy(Lou Donna)Gonzales, Melanie (Ryan) Baca, Melinda Martinez (Dominic), Miquela Larranaga(Niko),&nbsp; Augustine Larranaga. &nbsp;Alex&rsquo;s girlfriend Alexandra Murphy.</strong></em></span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><em><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Alex is also survived by his maternal great-great grandmother, Mary J. Douglass, his maternal great-great aunt, Olga Chavira, his maternal great-great uncle, Raul Chavira, his paternal great great- uncle, Jose Murphy Maestas, his maternal great aunts, Rose Whitlow, Virgie Kindle, Terry Douglass, Rafelita Chavez, and Bridget Freeman, his maternal great uncles, Jesus Escobedo, David Douglass, Fred Douglass, and George Larranaga (Alice), and many more cousins.</strong></em></span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><em><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Alex attended Cristo Rey Catholic School, St. Francis Catholic School, Gonzales, DeVargas Jr. High, Alameda, Santa Fe High and NMSU, where he made many friends. At the time of his death, Alex had been employed with Poweron Technology Services, LLC, as an IT Technician, which he enjoyed and loved.</strong></em></span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><em><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; We invite everyone to join us in celebrating Alex&rsquo;s life. A Rosary service will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at 5:30pm at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis, and a Funeral service will be held at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi on Friday, August 20, 2021, at 10:00am.&nbsp; Alex was cremated and will be buried with his mother when the Lord calls upon her.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></em></span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><em><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Pallbearers will be Ronnie Gonzales, Jeremy Gonzales, Caleb Davis, Jordan Davis, Augustine Larranaga, and Greg Maestas, Honorary pallbearers will be Zach Diaz, Patrick Baca, Julio Rascon, Evan Montoya, and Daniel Lury. Rosary honorary, DeAnza Maestas and Melanie Baca&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></em></span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><em><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A Balloon dedication will be held after mass at the church. Alex Jose Maestas

     Alex Jose Maestas passed away on November 14, 2020, in Albuquerque, NM. His huge smile, personality, warm heart, kindness, and the love for his family and friends, will be greatly missed by many.

     Alex was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico on August 15, 1991. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Mary C. Maestas, and his maternal grandfather, Ramon A. Larranaga.
