<p>Connie Sue Singer, 70, of Fairfield, died at 10:50 pm Monday, November 9, 2020, at the Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.</p> <p>Born September 15, 1950, in Keosauqua, IA, she was the daughter of Kenneth Harold and Nola Jeanette Robbins. On October 8, 2005, she married William Singer in Fairfield, IA.&nbsp;</p> <p>Connie was a nature lover and enjoyed spending time outdoors. She also loved critters of all kinds and often took in strays.&nbsp; Her life was a haven to many animals, especially cats and dogs. In her younger days, Connie&nbsp; participated in many horse shows, and when she wasn&#39;t at the horse shows, she was playing some mean fast pitch softball. Bill and Connie owned and operated B &amp; C Sales in Fairfield for 20 years.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Survivors include her step-daughter, Heather Singer of Ankeny; 4 step-grandchildren; one sister, Caroline Bailey of Keosauqua, Iowa and several nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Kenny Robbins.</p> <p>Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.</p> <p>Connie&#39;s final wishes was not to have a service.&nbsp; Connie was cremated and her and Bill will be laid to rest in the Evergreen Cemetery, in Fairfield, Iowa, at a later date.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Memorials may be made to EveryStep Hospice, 118 N Main St., Mt Pleasant Iowa 52641.&nbsp; Cards and memorials may be sent to Ken Nelson, 3174 Misty Meadows Rd., Salem Iowa 52649.</p>

Connie Sue Singer, 70, of Fairfield, died at 10:50 pm Monday, November 9, 2020, at the Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

Born September 15, 1950, in Keosauqua, IA, she was the daughter of Kenneth Harold and Nola Jeanette Robbins. On October 8, 2005, she married William Singer in Fairfield, IA. 

Connie was a nature lover and enjoyed spending time outdoors. She also loved critters of all kinds and often took in strays.  Her life was a haven to many animals, especially cats and dogs.
