Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress. Melanie was born in Miami, Florida on August 29, 1972. She died suddenly Sunday, November 15, 2020 at the age of 48. She is survived by Thomas E. Davis, Jr.; children, Sarah (John) Dyer and Derek Davis; grandchildren, Abby, Zoe and Jaxon Dyer; grandmother, Betty Grayson; parents, Mike Ickes, Dorothy (Jerry) Love; brother, Ian (Darlene) Ickes; aunts and uncles, Marion, Patti, Debbie, Cathy and Jim. She had a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She will be missed by all. There will be a gathering of friends and family 2 P.M. Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Fountain City Park to share stories of Melanie’s life. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
