Wanda Ann Savage Obituary

Wanda Ann Savage, 73, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Baptist Health Lexington. She was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on August 8, 1947 to the late Cecil Welch and Nannie Mae Bailey Welch and was preceded in death by her loving daughter, Lea Spanyer. Wanda was previously employed by L&N Glass Co. The Jessamine County School System and helped manage the Southland 68 Drive-In in her younger years. Wanda was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Versailles, Kentucky. Wanda was a very special sister to Donnie (Rita) Welch and Teresa (Johnny) Wash, and adoring Gammy to her grandchildren, Hanna and Bryce Spanyer and a caring mother in law to her son in law, Rob Spanyer, She was a precious aunt to , nieces, April (Steve) Berry, Michelle (Will) Fite, and nephews, Billy (Stacey) Fish and Joshua (Whitney) Fish and she adored her great nieces and nephews Makenna, Haley, Hank, Brodie, Caroline and Mia. Wanda was also very fond of her little dog Andi and Andi loved her just as much. Funeral Services will be 3:00PM, Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Billy Peel officiating. Visitation will be 1-3:00PM, Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
