Hernandez of Safford passed away at her home with her family at her side on November 16, 2020. She was born on April 29, 1960, in Kansas City, Missouri to Higinio M. Cordova & Billie Joyce Cordova and siblings Barbara, Janice, Carole, Silvia, Olivia, and Linda.</em></span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;"><em>When Frances was 15 years old, she participated in the Rose Bowl parade for hearing loss awareness, and later graduated from North Hollywood High School in 1978. She married Adrian Hernandez, and her children included Alicia Watson, Higinio Cordova, Jr., Stephanie Avila, Rudy Avila, and Alejandro Mendoza. She loved spending time in her garden and putting together scrapbooks. </em></span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;"><em>She was often heard saying "never drive faster than your angels can fly". Frances loved everyone, was a devoted mother & spouse, and was very determined in everything she did.</em></span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;"><em>Frances is survived by her children; Alicia Watson, Higinio Cordova, Jr., Stephanie Avila, Rudy Avila, and Alejandro Mendoza.
