Lydia "Pinky" Pierson Obituary

Pinky was born in Oregon City, Oregon to Kenneth & Patricia Flynn Hobbs. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Ron, Betty, Bonnie, Leta and Debbie.

She married Ervin “Mort” Pierson in July of 1975 and moved to Gold Beach where she was active in the Moose Lodge and VFW. She worked for many years for Curry County Elections.

Pinky is survived by her husband Mort, brother Ben Hobbs, sister Kay (Bob) Nelson, children John (Dana) Pierson, Gina (Lyle) Keeler, Thomas (Carole) Pierson. Grandchildren Anthony Pierson, Tiffany Pierson, Christopher Pierson, Deanndra Purser, Emily Anderson, John Morrill-Keeler, Izora Pierson, Colton Morrill-Keeler, Zoe Pierson, Amber Lord, and Tommy Pierson, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you send donations to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

There will be a private Celebration of Life at a future date.
