Rita Jean Frisque
<p> Rita Jean Frisque, 91, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Sturgeon Bay Health Services.</p> <p> She was born September 3, 1929 in Sturgeon Bay, daughter of the late Emmet and Theresa (Hunsader) Roberts. Rita graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School with the Class of 1948. She then began her career as a dental assistant, working for Dr. Gorgas Paulsen and later for Dr. Edward Koutnik until her retirement. She married Elvin Bernard Frisque. Rita enjoyed her sewing club, St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she joyfully sang in the church choir, and traveling the world with the Ehrbar’s.</p> <p> Rita is survived by her son, Brian (Jennifer Jorns) Frisque and grandchildren, Elvin J. Frisque and Emilie Jorns-Frisque; nieces and nephews; and her eye doctor/close friend, Dr. J Eric Paulsen.</p> <p> She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmet and Theresa Roberts; husband, Elvin</p> <p>Frisque; and two brothers.</p> <p> Special thanks to Dr. Kelton Reitz and the nursing staff at Sturgeon Bay Health Services who made her last years so comfortable.</p> <p> Huehns Funeral Home, Inc. & Door County Crematory LLC of Sturgeon Bay are assisting</p> <p>the Frisque family.
