Muriel T. Lusignan

<p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp; &nbsp; Muriel (Vachon) Lusignan, 90, passed away peacefully on November 15th, 2020. She was born on July 8, 1930 to Odilon and Cecile (Corriveau) Vachon. She was most proud taking care of her family. She married the love her life, Normand Lusignan on December 31, 1949. &nbsp;New Year&rsquo;s Eve 2020 would have been their Seventy First Wedding Anniversary. Muriel enjoyed tending to her garden, making meals for her family, and traveling with her husband. Prince Edward Island, Canada was one of her favorite destinations. Later in life she bravely battled the effects of Alzheimer&rsquo;s with true grace. Her faith was always first in her life. She loved her Lord with all her heart. She will be fondly remembered by her loving husband Normand, son Clark of Holyoke, son Gary and wife Barbara of Hermon, Maine, and daughter Nancy Doucet and husband Richard of Berwick, Maine and by five grandchildren. Muriel was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Doris Gazaille. All are invited to meet for Muriel&rsquo;s Liturgy of Christian Burial on Friday, November 20th at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton St., Holyoke, followed by burial in Forestdale Cemetery West, Rock Valley Rd. in Holyoke. There are no calling hours. Memorial donation may be made in Muriel&rsquo;s memory to St. Jude Children&rsquo;s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.&nbsp;</p>
