NORTH ANDOVER- Virginia M. (Galante) Mucci, 87 of North Andover, passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday evening, November 14,2020. Virgina was born in Medford Massachusetts on February 19, 1933 to the late Edward and Mary (Ghiozzi) Galante. She was a homemaker and offered day care for many children at her home for almost two decades. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, bowling and had a great love of animals. Most of all Virginia will be remembered as a wonderful and gracious hostess, often hosting many family functions at her home. The widow of the late Vincent Mucci, she is survived by her sons, Vincent A, Mucci and his wife Carol of North Reading, Edward J. Mucci and his wife Linda of Windham N.H. and Richard M. Mucci and his wife Kristine of Methuen. Also among her survivors are her grandchildren, Jillian O'Neil, Janelle Perry, James Mucci, Cara Leyden, and Justin Mucci and her great grandchildren Anthony Mucci and Jack Leyden. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins. Virginia was predeceased by her brothers, Edward, and Joseph Galante.  A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday November 21,2020 at 10 AM at St. Michael's Church. Burial will follow in Ridgewood Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Friday November 20,2020 from 4-8 PM at the Conte Funeral Home 17 Third Street North Andover.
