Douglas W. Price, 72, of Oak Harbor, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 at his residence. He was born on September 27, 1948 in Toledo to Eugene and Kathleen (Stidham) Price. Doug served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Doug worked for 39 years as a locomotive engineer for Conrail, Penn Central, and Norfolk Southern Railroads, retiring in 2008. On December 4, 2015 in Port Clinton he married Janet (Leaser) and she survives. Doug enjoyed golfing and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes. In addition to his loving wife, Janet, Doug is survived by his sons, Dennis (Tonya) Price and Richie (Marisa) Price, 4 grandkids, and 1 great grandson, step-kids, Jenny, Cynthia, Kristina, and Joshua, 4 step-grandkids, siblings, Donald (Judith) Price and Nancy Jones, and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Per Doug’s wishes he will be cremated under the direct care of the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor and there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Doug may be given to Promedica Hospice or a charity of the donor’s choice.
