Richard Dwayne Summerville

Richard Dwayne Summerville affectionally known as "Uncle Rick", was born on January 10, 1962 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was the youngest born of six children to Norman and Jacqueline Summerville. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Franklin Wilbert Summerville. Rick was a product of the Topeka Kansas Public School System, and graduated from Topeka, High School. He continued his studies at Kaw Area Vo technical School (KATVS) and received his certification in electronics. He was later employed by the state of Kansas as a security officer. He was also employment through several restaurant food services. For many years he took pride in his volunteer work at Saint Francis Hospital. Rick accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior as a young man. He attended St. Paul Church of God in Christ and later united with Love Fellowship through the leadership of Pastor Marcus A. Clark. Ricky was a lover of people who never met a stranger and had a big heart for others. He was always ready to give his big infectious smile to brighten your day. He had a huge heart for animals and he absolutely admired the Dallas Cowboys. He leaves to cherish his memory; two brothers, Norman Rudy (Charlotte), Cedar Hill, TX, Steven Indianapolis, and three sisters, Patricia, Kansas City, KS, Kathleen ,Topeka, KS and Rashema (Trey), Memphis, Tennessee. Stepmother Dorothy Summerville, and a host of other relatives that include uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and many, many friends.
