Ash, North Carolina Mr. George Franklin Inman, age 84, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC. Mr. Inman was born on October 31, 1936 in Ash, NC, to the late Frank Devon Inman and the late Madgie Grant Inman. He served his country with courage and honor in the United States Army. Throughout Mr. Inman’s life he owned and operated a farm, a grocery store, Inman’s Construction Company, Inman Metal Roofing, Dozier Plantation House B&B, and founder of The Walton Creek Development. He was longtime active member of New Britton Baptist Church in Ash, NC. Survivors include his wife, Ola Ward Inman of Ash, NC; son, Mark Inman and wife, Rhonda of Ash, NC; and three grandchildren, Bryan Inman, Alicia Inman, and Cory Inman. Mr. Inman was predeceased by his son, Franklin Inman; seven brothers, Silas Inman, Samuel Inman, Boyd Inman, Homer Inman, Howard Inman, Aaron Inman, and Lloyd Inman; and sister, Annie Vance. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at New Britton Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at New Britton Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Nobles and Pastor Larry Allen. Committal service will be held at Bill Inman Cemetery. Memorials may be made to New Britton Baptist Church at 5494 Kingtown Road NW, Ash, NC 28420.
